Despite being a recommended grape variety at the region, it has little importance in the region and few oenological qualities.
The bunch of grapes is small and not compact. The grape berries are small to medium, moderately thick skin. The maturation is form medium to late. It produces fruity, fresh and citrus coloured wines, with rich acid content.
For being the grape variety that usually presents the lowest graduation content, generates wines with certain acid imbalance. It is almost always used blended with another grape varieties, as a correction factorof the acidity, of the respective set.
