It is a grape variety of good and early production. Its name comes from the yellowish green color of its bunch of grapes, which is small and moderately compact. The grape berries are medium size, of moderately thick skin. Its main characteristic is the excellent relationship between its acidity and sugar content, giving rise to wines of high alcohol content, well structured and very acid, having so much freshness and excellent conditions of aging in bottle.
Its flavor profile is very personal and intense, with notes of tropical fruit, chamomile, hay and dried flowers.
In the mouth, beyond the great balance between alcohol and acidity and great structure, presents a slightly bitter touch, conferring identity and exoticism.
It is generally mixed with other grape varieties of the region increasing their alcohol content without lowering its acidity, while giving them elegance.
