The Winery was born in the 1960s, a decade marked by the recovery, expansion and implementation of the spirit and cooperative values in Portugal. In the 70s, now with its own headquarters, labouring for the first time, approximately half a million kilos of grapes from its cooperative grape producers. Without resources for state supports, the cooperatives were the ones to give origin to all the invested capital. In the 90s, a modernisation and investment process was initiated, both at the level of the facilities, and at the level of laboratory equipment and quality control of wines. A vinification and wine stabilisation centre was built, along with an own bottling line. In the early 2000s, the Winery began to develop its wine tourism identity.
