About the Event

The wines from the Dão region will once again travel to the Time Out Studio, at Mercado da Ribeira in Lisbon, for the 8th edition of Dão Capital - Dão Wine Route.

November 26th, Saturday - 3pm to 9pm

November 27, Sunday - 3pm to 8pm

Free entry

Cost of the glass = 10,00€.

Commented Tastings - Free entry

The event, organized by the Dão Wine Board (CVR do Dão), gives visitors the opportunity to taste dozens of wines from the region and attend commented tastings. In addition, visitors can learn more about the Dão Wine Route and plan their next trip to the region.

Rodrigo Costa

Winemaker - Taboadella

With a vast experience in the Dão region, he has a degree in Agricultural Engineering, and a post graduate degree in Biotechnology and Wine Innovation. He is a member of the Tasting Panel of the CVR since 2010, and is currently a winemaker at Quinta da Taboadella.

Director of oenology at Lusovini.

Patrícia Santos

Winemaker - Rosa da Mata

Winemaker in projects in Dão, Beira Interior and Arribes (Spain), trainer in viticulture courses, member of the Tasters Chamber of the CVR Beira Interior and producer of Rosa da Mata Wine (Dão).

João Oliveira

Winemaker - Vines & Wines

WSET level 3 graduate, he has a degree in Viticulture and Enology from the University of Porto and the University of Trás-os-Montes. In 2017 he interned at Deep Woods in Australia and carried out his specialization in Agricultural Insurance. He has been a jury member in competitions such as Berliner Wein Trophy, Portugal Wine Trophy and International Wine Challenge. Currently he is Manager and viticulturist at AJ Rodrigues Vinhos, Lda and consultant oenologist at Vines & Wines - Consultores de Enologia, Lda.
