Is a magnificent construction from the 18th century, located in an extraordinary landscaped setting.
At the beginning of the 19th century, the Palácio dos Condes de Anadia was known as Casa dos Paes do Amaral.
With the marriage of Manuel Paes do Amaral de Almeida and Vasconcelos Quifel Barbarino, Lord of the House of Mangualde, with D. Maria Luiza de Sá Pereira by Menezes de Mello Sottomayor, 3rd Countess of Anadia, this house became known as “Palácio Anadia”.
Maintaining its original dimension, fully walled, in the center of Mangualde, the Palácio Anadia is composed of a Main House, its gardens and an 18th-century forest.
This architectural complex is classified as “Property of Public Interest”.
The house belongs to the Pais do Amaral family to this day, with the family having a close and affectionate relationship with the property.
